Welcome to York House, your home away from home when visiting the historic market town of Tetbury or the surrounding area.York House is perfectly located on Silver Street, a stones throw away from the vibrant town centre which offers a mix of designer boutiques, antique shops, specialist food emporiums and restaurants.As Tetbury's newest bed and breakfast, York House offers guest accommodation in four suites that have been designed with an emphasis on comfort and an eye for style. The ambiance is in keeping with the period of the property, which was originally built circa 1650 with later additions around 1780. During your stay our aim will be to ensure that you enjoy a personalised service, tailored to satisfy the needs of your visit. Heading west along the M4 exit at Junction 15. Follow the signs to Stroud along the A419. Continue along the A419 for some 20 minutes and take the exit signposted 'Cirencester Industrial Estate'. This will take you in to Cirencester on the A419 where you then follow signs to tetbury along initially the A429 and then the A433.On approaching Tetbury you will first pass a substantial Audi dealership on your left then a Tesco petrol station and Tesco supermarket. Again both will be on your left. Continue on this road until you bare round to the left and you will now be driving up Long Street. When you come to a small mini roundabout (the market house will be directly in front of you and The Snooty Fox will be to your left), cross directly over the roundabout and this will take you past the Post Office (right) and a few shops on your left. The road will naturally turn to the right, and at this point York House is situated on your left just after the right hand turn. Please note there is no parking available at York House and vehicles will have to be parked within the free parking zones a short walk away from the house.The post code for the property is GL8 8DH and this will bring you to the door. Some SatNav's will direct you to exit the M4 at Junction 16 as well as Junction 17. Both are fine but not quite as quick as the Junction 15 option.
